I’m exhausted, but feeling so good.
Today the warmer weather drew us outside.
I raked leaves.
Tim sanded and painted a table.
We ate lunch outside.
I raked some more.
I read a book in the sun.
We walked the dog.
We sat outside.
I’m exhausted, but feeling so good.
Sounds like a great day! Nice repetition in your poem too!
It was a spectacular day — and the best kind of exhaustion!
A full spring day. The weather was just about perfect!
There are times when I wish I lived in a place that stayed warm all year round, but your post reflects the joy of having the seasons change. There’s not much that brings more joy than a warm spring day in New England.
The feeling of being tired after a long, productive day outside is the best! After a long winter, these kind of days are so very welcomed.
Good thing you did this yesterday since today is so dreary!
