One More Snow Poem Revision

OK.  This is revision #4.  This revision idea comes from reading a post about how hard it is for the people who are responsible for removing the snow (Not Just Kidding Around). I’ve been writing about the beauty of snow.  So today’s revision strategy is called, “See it through someone else’s eyes.”  Here we go!

Oh No! Not More Snow!

It’s March.

Almost spring.

The robins should be returning. The daffodils should be dancing.

But no.

Not today.

It’s snowing…..again.

That means work. Hard work.

Out the door early.

Leaving my family at home to enjoy hot chocolate on a snow day.

Trying to decide.

Wet snow? Freezing? Is there rain coming?

Do I plow now? Wait until the snow stops?

So many decisions to make in the dark of the morning.

Home now.

So sore.

So tired.

But I’ve cleared the snow and people are safe.

Schools can open.  Kids can come to school.

It’s March.

Almost spring.

The robins should be returning. The daffodils should be dancing.

Maybe tomorrow.

For now.  Bed.
